Auktionshuset Metropol values art, antiques and other interior furnishings free of charge with a view to a possible sale. Items are accepted all year round. You can send a valuation query online and include photographs via our Online Valuation service. Please state the dimensions, artist or maker and give a brief description and any history surrounding the item, and one of our experts will be in touch.
Unfortunately we are unable to accept photographs or queries by e-mail, please use our Online Valuation service instead.
Queries received via our Online Valuation service are handled in turn as quickly as possible. As there are often many customers with queries it may sometimes take a while until you receive an answer, but we will be in touch by phone or e-mail once the valuation is complete.
Please note that the valuation is only preliminary based on the photograph received, and may change upon inspection.
For large or high-volume assignments we can also make home visits and valuations on site. Please contact our Phone Valuation department for consultation and to book a time.
The Online Valuation service is mainly designed to help customers intending to sell an item at auction and cannot be used for insurance or other purposes. If you need assistance with an insurance valuation, please contact us and we will arrange a time for the item to be inspected by one of our experts.
