Until a lot has been sold, it will show ‘Next bid must be at least’. This is the minimum bid for that item at that moment in time. The amount is shown on the lot’s digital label and on metropol.se. Just as in a conventional open outcry auction, a lot’s minimum bid amount increases every time a bid is placed online. Please note that there may also be a higher maximum bid from an existing bidder. This amount is not visible, but will automatically outbid you by one bid increment up to the entered maximum, just as in a conventional auction.
